All avenues of expression are being closed off and it wouldn't
surprise me if they eventually work their way around to us.
We're small fry compared with those who have already been
silenced, but when the totalitarians start house cleaning even
we mice shouldn't expect to be passed over. Trump said -
"It's not me they're after, it's you, I'm just in the way"
How true that was. Well, he's out of the way, so too will be all
those who were close to him. The popular hope is that we'll put
things right when the next elections come around, but will we ?
They'll be far better at fixing things now that they're in charge
and will have two unhindered years to hone their cheating skills.
I'll should read 1984 again as I've forgotten how it ends, although
I suspect it's not going to be happily ever after.
