What makes Twitter and Facebook so powerful ? ...

We do. Well maybe not me and you, but it's People that allows
these tech giants to be as all powerful as they are. Without people
using their services which in turn attracts their ad revenue they'd
be as powerless as I am. It's kinda funny really to think that we're
building the very Tumbrels that will take us to our doom.
Never were there truer words spoken than those from a movie:
"Shepherds may change, but Sheep remain Sheep"

The answer is to complain to their sponsors -- hold them accountable.

Ronald Reagan's career was fading when in 1954 he caught a break with television, hosting General Electric Theater. He later said that it was his time spent with GE that led him to believe that government regulation had gotten out of hand, stifling American industry, starting him in politics.

It has been 40 years since Reagan was elected President, 32 since he left office. Though he will be fondly remembered for defeating the Soviet Union in the Cold War, the conservative era that he ushered in has reached the limit of its pendular swing.

In 2020, the Twitters, Amazons, Facebooks, Googles, are the GEs of the economy, and Conservatives are leading the charge demanding their regulation.

Just read that Face Book and Twitter combined lost $51 Billion in stock value since Trump was kicked out.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Twitter and Facebook have become the modern soapbox. Now they want to say who can and can't speak from that soapbox. Time for some good ol' liberal regulation.
