The powers that be in New York have said they aren't going to let them get out that easily, they're going to do everything in their power to keep them in New York so they can exercise "oversight" meaning try to harass the NRA out of business.

Not sure how they can legally do that.
On a small scale: I took my business out of San Francisco (mid 70s)and
and continued it from my house in Marin. San Francisco business tax people
tried to audit my books. I told the guy to piss off. It worked, much to my surprise.
