It's funny how the media like to write that someone was carrying unregistered ammunition. Well ya.

IIRC in DC it is illegal to have ammo unless you have a firearm in that caliber, and you live in DC,

the DC police have been know to arrest or hold folks, while having the vehicle impounded, if they find a loose round or even a piece of brass during a stop,


pre-Cooties, we went to DC often for Concerts, I always checked the car for ammo, mags, etc from range trips to make sure I had nothing in case of a stop
