The Liberals are still bitter over the failure of Err America so this is their way of getting back. Again, many companies need to drop this "wokeness" and think they are in the business of shaping public opinion and concentrate on serving the consumer.

and by force? some of the Cap Police were opening doors and taking selfies

when the dust settles, this insurrection will be shown as anything but

what you don't understand is how this makes your side look

          Lyman,

I asked if Liberals are trying to overthrow the government by force and you said "4 years ago" and I asked for a link and now you're deflecting accusing me of a short memory. Do you have a link or not? If your memory isn't that short, tell me the event and I'll go find it.

As insurrections go, ramshackle to be sure, and unsuccessful, but some people had a plan even if the rest were just extras in a Cecil B. DeMille-style production. That plan being if not to finish something, then to at least start something. And Pillow Guy asking for Martial Law even up to the end. So definitely something wrong going on in what passed at the end for Trump's inner circle.

As for "sides". If you're going to paint a portrait of me (which runs counter to SysAd's instructions "Time to put the gloves back on and keep it civil. Argue points, not personalities" but anyways), at least get it right: My side is the people who saw Trump as a terrible choice for the office from the very beginning, and never wavered from that view. If you want to argue that I had it wrong, given everything that has happened, you are free to do that. I doubt you'll persuade me.

tell me where they tried to overthrow the gov't by force?

things I am reading here and there are they were protesting the election, and demanding action,

the entire insurrection/coup thing is a pile of crap that keeps getting deeper and deeper so it fits the narrative that your party wants to show,

you keep picking out onesy's and twosy's of alt right killer death squad insurgents,, and backtracking to facebook posts, pillow makers, etc etc,

            https://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/10/u...-protests.html

national meltdown by the left, from a simple google search, (trump protests 2016)

I'm sure I could google each year afterwards and get similar articles (and those were just the top 3)

remember, your party (the one you have been shilling for) got butthurt 'because is was her turn' and went full OMB and TDS for the past 4 years,

            every
            waking
            moment,

(and lets us skip over the party acceptance and encouragement of all the other crap that happened in the past year, and before, you know,, those peaceful protests , riots, burning, looting etc etc)

so pardon me if I don't follow your narrative, (the same one the D's are following in lock step) on what happened the past week, and also pardon me if I scoff at the dramatic measures posted in the news to 'keep America safe' and whatever BS the left is speaking,)

BTW,, have you seen the articles where some are saying the NG is too white and too male? and that is a danger?

            enough to make one LOL

I think threatening to assassinate the President, appearing on TV holding what appeared to be his severed head, wanting to blow up the White House -- along with all the rioting and burning and looting the country has seen recently just might meet the definition of "force."

We're probably headed there, anyway. Which congressperson was it who discussed "retraining camps?"

IIRC,, that was Clintonhaters favorite, AOC,,

she also wanted to free the South (guessing she forgot how bad the North stuck it to the South during the Reconstruction)
