American trust in the mainstream media hits an all-time low

American trust in the mainstream media hits an all-time low and maybe because it has turned into nothing but just another left wing platform.....

American trust in the mainstream media hits an all-time low with just 18% of Republicans saying they believe journalists after the 2020 election

New data from Edelman shows that American trust in media is at all-time low
56% believe that journalists and reporters are purposely trying to mislead
58% think news organizations are more interested in ideology than facts

Only 18% of Republicans trust the media versus 57% of Democrats
As a whole, 46% of Americans of all political stripes say they trust the media

People on the right are certain about one thing: somebody was lying to them about the election.

Lying media. Yep. Absolutely no doubt about it. Trust is low to non-existent for the simple reason truth is starkly absent from the broadcasts of the mom, npr, etc. They are in bed with the left-wing liberal demokrats and have been since lbj. That is the plain unvarnished truth. They have sown the wind. Now they reap the whirlwind. Sincerely. bruce.

You can say what you like -- but remember when NBC did a news show "exposing" how Ford pickup gas tanks would explode in a rear-end collision? They tried and tried, and couldn't make it happen -- so they attached model rocket motors to the gas tank before rear-ending a truck.

Remember how CNN-Time ran a special on the US using nerve gas in Viet Nam? They had a witness who said he SAW and SMELLED the gas cloud. (A nerve gas cloud that was so concentrated that it could be seen and smelled would wipe out all life on earth.)

Remember how CBS got a purported memo telling how George W Bush was AWOL, and document experts told them they couldn't verify it -- so they got a new set of "experts" and went with it. And how someone noticed later it was printed in a Microsoft Word font -- and Microsoft didn't exist when that document was purportedly typed?

          Naw, mainstream news wouldn't lie!

That slipped my mind. His name is on the Battle Abbey roll, too.

I thought this was a Ford Pinto. Didn’t know about the trucks. Actually owned a Pinto and got a recall msg. to install a shield over or around tank.. Many years ago. When I was financially struggling. I’m comfortable now..

The fake GM truck crash was filmed a few miles from my house.

What the mainstream media doesn't understand is, integrity is like virginity. Once you give it up, you can't get it back.

Virginity is poor analogy. This one is better:

Mark Twain was quoted about not being able to libel the intelligence of the human race, but I'd argue the same could be said of the average American news consumer.

For a culture that prides itself on resourcefulness, and self accountability, there are too many people that shun this responsibility when required.

                      Relevant quote:

"Mr. Roosevelt is the most formidable disaster that has befallen the country since the Civil War -- but the vast mass of the nation loves him, is frantically fond of him, even idolizes him. This is the simple truth. It sounds like a libel upon the intelligence of the human race, but it isn't; there isn't anyway to libel the intelligence of the human race."

                      - Autobiographical dictation 13 September 1907. Published in Autobiography of Mark Twain, Vol. 3 (University of California Press, 2015)
"The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. Ullman

MSM is like a prostitute, as she ages it is harder to sell to anyone. The only one's buying are those who want a cheap quick thrill!

Perhaps that is why the FDA asked "them" for their prescription for "large" amounts of this "necessity".
