    So I have a question.

Jeff Bezos wants the Amazon union vote to done in person, not by mail ballots because of....

    Too much chance of fraud.

So how many of Biden's '80 million' votes were cast at the polls, by real, live registered voters by the time the polls closed? The way it is supposed to be.

Companies do that to intimidate those supporting a Union.

A union vote at an Amazon warehouse is now somehow equivalent to a national election certification by individual secretary of states?

Tinfoil has to be on pretty tight.

      Good question.

Devil is in the details, because state governments have put a ton of effort into election security, particularly on the registration side, since Obama got into office on a huge black turnout.

So the guess would be that for all of the online wizardry of Amazon, they didn't find the time to make unionization votes secure. Go figure!

Obviously Bezos doesn't want a union. But I hope he gets one, because I think he kind of needs one to keep him honest, given that he employs a big chunk of the country right now.

So I would say.....allow mail in balloting IF proper security can be managed. Without knowing the details can't say more than that.

No one allows 'mail in voting' except here in the US with the connivance of Democrats.
        Need I say more.

Poor logic. What about mail in votes that took place in Trump's winning states?

            back to the Union,

mail in must be a new thing, usually it is done in person only,

I cannot remember if they have a absentee type ballot available,

funny tho,, in the UFCW it never really mattered, (it was always rigged, and any change in union management was due to improprieties, not a vote)

the contracts votes were also pretty much rigged, as in they were told how to vote and the numbers always worked out

              thinking about this a bit,

it is also part of the process,

as in the Union will say A
              management (Bezos) say B

              and back and forth,

thing is, and this is the key , Unions see xxxxtons of money from the Amazon employees, just like they did with WalMart

they failed miserably trying to unionize WalMart,, and will with Amazon,,

              575000+ Amazon employees,

that is a lot of union dues,

Why hire a person who is in the union at all? People who are out of work are currently in a steady supply.

                  Maybe not in Alabama.

The company I worked for had a UAW union for the employees. The company never intimadated any employee!

Did they unionize during your tenure, or was it already in place?

traditionally, you don't hire a union worker unless you hire them thru the union, (that usually applies to trade unions like IBEW etc,)

in VA (still a right to work state) the employee can join, or not, at any time ,
