Facebook is handing over incriminating data to investigators

Facebook is handing over incriminating data to investigators and you can bet the left site loves doing it..

US Capitol rioters are being arrested based on data handed over to the FBI by Facebook
months after law enforcement officials used social media to arrest George Floyd protesters

MAGA rioters involved in January 6 ransacking of US Capitol are being pursued
FBI is combing through social media posts and videos to track down suspects

In some cases, Facebook is handing over incriminating data to investigators

Data includes deleted videos and content that was posted by MAGA rioters

FBI and local police went undercover online and posed as social justice activists
On at least four occasions, feds charged a suspect based on social media posts

    Facebook doesn't want to be a co-conspirator.

How long were you a police officer?

The democrats have announced they will start a new office dedicated to "U.S. terrorists" to find all those that oppose them. Sorta like a secret police intelligence re: the gestapo! And they are big on "deprogramming all Trump supporters". Our 1st amendment rights are being taken away!

Nobody thought that Big Brother would come through Corporate Anerica. And anyone who thinks they have privacy rights on the Internet and social media....Conversely, treating what happened at the Capitol as an "insurrection" and dismissing what happened in Minneapolis and elsewhere as "protests"....

Same if someone commits murder on Facebook live.

Doesn't anyone read their agreements with FB? I guess not. A company will protect its shareholders before protecting the rights of criminals usually.

I take it you mean: "nobody thought....but they should have" right?

Companies want to know what is in your blood stream, what time you badged in our out of the facility, in some cases they log every keystroke on your computer. Pretty much they have infinite rights over you in exchange for giving you money.

There is no "reasonable expectation of privacy" on Facebook or any other social media platform, or on your cell phone for that matter. There is on a landline which is just another good reason to have one.

You missed the point...they could just have waited to be requested to provided what ever the FBI wanted..Then they would have been obligated by law to provide it and be protected from any law suites....But they were just to excited to provide them with any negative info on conservatives to wait..

You cannot make the assessment that only conservatives are being targeted.

Everyone signs a user agreement. The FBI certainly has resources from every social network.
