We should ask for our money back .....

I think we are all worthy of a refund… all of us.

We’ve just parted with a President who gleefully boasted of spending $450 Billion dollars annually on the defense of this nation …. on “our” defense. In fact this boast was one of the reasons that many voted for him a second time .

I can’t help but note that just a couple of weeks prior to that Presidents departure our own Capitol Building was overrun during a joint session of Congress. It was attacked and overrun by unarmed members of the Duck Dynasty in Carharts and a QA-non shaman in a furry hat with horns .

For $450 Billion a year I think we should expect more than just Israel feeling safe ….

and I think we should ask for our money back

The Capital Police were responsible for the security not DOD. I'm actually appalled that the Capital has so little physical security. I've run retail stores that were more secure.

Some of us would like to get our money back from the War on Poverty.

Biden by order has cost this nation way more by shutting down jobs and having workers laid off plus pledging more benefits for the welfare and forcing States to support all the illegals about to enter.

Biden just gave 4 billion to Central America, it was on CNN so it must be true. Doesn't Pebbles have a plantation some where south of Texas?

That's a pretty good zinger! Very snappy! Well done!

But in truth too many collecting disability checks now. Not politically practical.

If that happened, it would wipe out the national debt.

I recall Bob Bechtel being interviewed. He said, "You don't understand. Poverty programs aren't meant to end poverty, they're meant to make people more comfortable in their poverty."

Trillions of dollars down the toilet and we weren't even playing to win, only to tie!

Kind of like Viet Nam. It was a tie. And very expensive. It's a Niagara Falls of money going over the cliff every day.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

                    Exactly right.

Why don't we try this -- there is at least one poverty program in EVERY department of government (a department is a part of the Executive Branch headed by a Secretary -- the Department of Commerce, etc.) There are 15 departments.

Who the hell is in charge? Who sets overall policy, coordinates all these programs, sets goals for them, and takes necessary corrective action? NO ONE!

Why not put them all under ONE head and charge him with eliminating poverty -- and hold his feet to the fire?
