    Oh Happy Day!

Our Socialist Democrat forum gun owners should really be jumping with joy. The lovable congresswoman from Texas, Shelia Jackson Lee, had introduced an all encompassing licensing and registration bill. It even covers "antique firearms", so they aren't missing anything.

As with the start of every session, they are flinging their... stuff... and seeing what may stick. This type bill in introduced in every session by her ilk.
We have the duty to remind them of the elections of 1994. I really, really doubt they ever forgot.

She's over complicated it to the point where it's just a joke.

There are a handful of similar HR bills recently introduced. Most all are like that, overly complicated, vague, generally reflecting the nuts who introduce them.

Restrictive gun laws don't happen all at once. Maybe some aren't old enough to remember, but I do remember walking into a gun shop, picking out a gun, paying, and walking out. Then you had to fill out a form which wasn't much of a bother, and then later had to undergo a background check. The point being that gun laws get worse rather than better, and the gun hating socialist democrats control the whole ballgame now.

I remember buying a 7mm Mauser, mail order, for $16.00.

I took a bus from home to Klein's gun store and bought one of those 7mm Spanish Mausers carbines they were selling for $15.00. Took the bus back home with the gun in hand, no case or even wrapped up but in plain view...No body on the bus hardly gave it a glance...My.. how times have changed!
