    Tearful AOC via the DM reveals she is a sex assault survivor

    First impression Via the DM liberal play on words, is that she was assaulted in the capital!......At least that what I thought! ..But apparent it happened in her past but in the article she doesn't explain the event. kind of makes you wonder if true!

    New York Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has tearfully revealed that she is a survivor of sexual assault as she talked about the trauma she felt during the deadly insurrection at the US Capitol.

    Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was discussing the aftermath of the Capitol insurrection on Instagram Live to 150,000 viewers on Monday night

    She then told how she was 'a survivor of sexual assault' with tears in her eyes
    'She accused Senator Ted Cruz and Republicans who supported overturning President Joe Biden's election victory of using the 'tactics of abusers'

    She said that denying responsibility for the January 6th insurrection and telling her to move on was typical of such behavior

    'They are now telling me to apologize for saying and speaking truth to what happened,' she said, adding that she is 'not going to let this happen again'

    next thing will be she was taking sniper fire at the capitol when Vesuvius erupted

      Have no use for the woman. That being said, sexual assault is a threat which women of all ages face. It is a fact of life not limited to merely the cities, etc. but sadly a reality even where there should be safety ... at home, etc. Many women who experience assault say nothing. Who can blame them? The routine is all to often to say it was their fault, they were asking for it, etc., etc., etc. Sincerely. bruce.

        AOC is also demanding more protection since she was so traumentised during Jan. 6. More police and fences all the while calling to defund the police.

          remember,

          it is defund the police for the masses,


          but she is in the special class, she gets extra police/bodyguard protection,


          think of it this way,

          last summer, when the "peaceful protests" happen in the cities and towns near you, the police were not there to help you much,
          in some towns and cities they were marching with the protestors,,, while the protestors looted, burned, etc etc

          in others they were overwhelmed, and in some cases, protecting themselves and their police station,
          and any fed aid (except for $$) was refused


          however in DC,, a group of folks waltz into the capitol building, and the media equates it to the second coming,

          the congress/senate folks barricaded and hid from a group of peaceful protestors,
          and now want to barricade the Capitol , and folks like AOC think she was targeted ,,


          wonder why,

          what would any good politician have to fear?

                    One example Paul left out of his excellent speech is even more relevant to next week’s impeachment. Less than one year ago, Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York led a mob on the steps of the Supreme Court while a case was being heard and tried to thwart the natural deliberation of justices by violently threatening two of them to rule in favor of his and other Democrats’ preferred outcome.

                    “I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions,” Schumer threatened the two most recently confirmed justices, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

                          The difference being, according to some, that they couldn't acquire their targets.

                          It's what happened, or almost happened, INSIDE the capitol on that day that matters most. A mass gathering OUTSIDE the capitol, those come and go.

                            who is they?

                            was there ever a they going after targets?

                            was there a they caught who admitted that is what they were doing ?


                            if not, then it is just speculating, arm chair quarterbacking, or just nuts,


                            I understand preparing for something that might happen, with limits of course and then discussing what DID happen, and using that for future planning,


                            but what we are seeing now is the Fed going after folks, for things that did not happen,
                            and the it could have happened language is damaging,,,, to everyone, esp since it did not,



                            this past event is being blown way out of proportion, for political reasons,


                            there has been much more that happened in the past that did not get this kind of attention or scrutiny,

                              As a Liberal Supreme Court said close to 30 years ago AN INDIVIDUAL has no Constitutional right to any police protection, only to the collective. Congress could vote to have the SS protect them on an individual basis regardless of where they are. RHIP as they can vote for a salary increase quite easily, why not personal protection?
