    The great wall Nancy built.

The best thing the Dems have done in 100 years is building a wall to keep Americans away from what used to be "our" capitol.

    What I will repost is:

Mass Propaganda discovered that its audience was ready at all times to believe the worst, no matter how absurd.... - Hannah Arendt
    And:

... only the hypocrite is really rotten to the core..... Hannah Arendt

best thing would be to have DC become a smaller section of the Gov't buildings, and give the rest back to Md,,

but Md does not want it,

          Hannah Arendt quotes

There are no dangerous thoughts; thinking itself is dangerous.
The Third World is not a reality but an ideology.
... only the hypocrite is really rotten to the core.
Violence can destroy power; it is utterly incapable of creating it.
          this one not needed....................................

            Why was the fence installed?

            This is an easy one.

“Let’s not go there.” I didn’t go there first. If one person quotes a public figure to prove a point, why is it offensive to quote the same person when it reveals a truth about the person quoted?

because Pat and those before her set up rules,

they are posted in several places,

one of those rules involves racist comments,

so,, while I understand why you posted that comment, the content may not be construed, by some who look at things thru a modern eye, they way you expect,

if you want to, repost it, but add some context so the average reader has an idea what you are posting about,

and we will go from there,

                  or have Sam do it,

Togor quoted Hannah Arendt as if she were a genius hero of his when in fact she was a racist.

The Hannah Arendt quote was chosen because she was there, and saw firsthand how persistent propaganda can a turn an audience towards its darker impulses, not because she's some sort of great sage of civilization. That quote speaks to present times, whether we like it or not.

Eventually something else will come along, and there will be a new .sig.

interesting that both RED bothered to look her up, and her quotes,

and that togor dismisses it ,,,,

Arendt witnessed the violence of Krystallnacht and the terror and Intimidation that followed. Then said
“Violence can destroy power; it is utterly incapable of creating it."
She perfected the the “Twist and turn,” method of discourse.

Hey look at that, guys questioning Arendt's entire orthodoxy based on a few quotes culled from the internet. If she were alive today she may well get a good laugh from that, or say at least they're still reading.
