    Mavericks are no longer playing national anthem at home games

    In all my life I have never been to a ball game where the anthem wasn't played..

    The Dallas Mavericks have taken a stance against the playing of the national anthem.

      Also I remember when it was played on TV stations in the beginning of every day.

        I remember when it was played at the end of the TV broadcast day ( no 24 hour coverage back then ).

              It does MATTER!! When the BLM anthem is played instead! I am done with NFL lunacy! From kneeling to BLM anthem! Let'em play in Africa!
              I am a proud veteran who served in Vietnam! It is a disgrace to all veterans when the U.S. Anthem is replaced by some bogus anthem.

                Yes, and when people who have lived only through the good times and experienced none of the bad ones, who have enjoyed all of the benefits and blessings of this country but who never put their lives on the line or went in Harm's Way "protest"...

                  I recall when Mohammed Ali (Cassius Clay) died the media extolled his "war protest" and said "He paid the price."

                  I didn't know he had been killed in action -- I thought it was some other guy who died in his place.
