How does a Canadian pipeline improve the price for US shale oil producers?

Come on I know you are not stupid! and you know piping the oil lowers the cost of oil verses trucking it. You can't soften the outrageous political favor that was done by Biden which will cost everyone in the country a lot more money for oil..

No it won't. You are putting on a good act of not understanding true market forces of petroleum in this country.

Look at the bright side, with all those Keystone boys out of work...it will be more oil available for the rest of us to use.

Ray, is a pipe full of Canadian tar going to increase or decrease the market price at US refineries for crude?

And if that prices goes down, is that good news or bad news for US shale producers?

You're trying to pretend that Canadian tar isn't a foreign import, but it is. All things being equal, if we are importing foreign oil, maybe we should import supplies that aren't so environmentally destructive as Alberta tar. There are other friendly countries out there.

Oh please stop the argument about tar oil and trying to cover a Democrat pay off with that.....As It will still be trucked in, and by a big Biden political contributor.

              price is what it is,
              it's all commodity bought,

so as long as it is profitable to pipe it in (pipelines are cheaper than road or rail) at a price that can be refined and sold at a profit, then all is good,

the flow will lessen or stop if the price gets too high, and increase if the margins are good,

some areas, as we have seen with fracking etc, only work if gas/oil/etc are at a high enough price to make it worthwhile,,

economics 101 says we don't drill etc without a ROI

Can you prove the Buffett angle?

I am willing to bet that you cannot, because

                A) the claims of political payoff are proven false by campaign finance records,

                B) Buffett has generally supported pipelines in general, and expressed no opposition to this one in particular.

To use a metaphor, someone sold you a put-together sniper rifle as the real deal. It happens, but I'm not buying it.

Burden of proof is in you to back up your claims, not on someone else to disprove them.

Piping the oil cost less verses trucking or training it in..Do you disagree? And who was a big political donator to Bidens' campaign? and does that big donator own a large truck line that is transporting the oil to the Us and would that company loose money if that the pipe line was completed! And who was it that stopped the pipe line from happening so he don't loose money? You don't have to be a genius to figure that one out!?
