I will never forgive Israel for the Liberty attack! That was an underhanded attack on the US who has always helped Israel. And it should never be forgotten. But what is the alternative to Israel in the middle East!

A wise man once said, Israel wants three things and can only have two.

She wants to be a Jewish state, a democracy and to control all the land from the sea to the Jordan.

If she controls all the land from the sea to the Jordan, and wants to be a democracy, she must enfranchise the Muslims that live there -- and she would shortly become a Muslim majority state and can no longer be a Jewish state.

If she controls the land from the sea to the Jordan and remains a Jewish state, she must rule the Muslims within those borders as an occupying power and can no longer be a democracy.

If she wants to remain a democracy and a Jewish state, she must give up Gaza and the West Bank.
