Send them to Delaware, and let Joe pay for them.

Attention Occupant #46 of the white house:

Could you consider a useful option for the addressing the North-bound caravan of people that are entice to the "Home of the brave and Land of the free"
use the already option in the immigration laws - "Sponsorship", it means that a sponsor agrees to help and tech the newly arrived and investigated immigrants that they can make the best EFFORT to become productive citizens. It has worked in the past, when laws were upheld.

I had rather see the subsidies go to the farmers than the lifetime welfare recipients. At least the farmers are productive.

                  Old joke:

Q: How do you starve a farmer?

                  A: Nail his mailbox shut!!

The government subsidizes large farms at the expense of small ones, a national policy of prioritizing production of cereal grains. We can't say if we are getting a good deal or not out of this. But one thing is clear, large farms need fewer people per acre because they operate at a scale where automation becomes a major player, and thus are clearing out the countryside.

no so sure it is automation vs economies of scale and a different way of laying out the fields,

the combine or implement of today is not that much more automated than what was around 40 yrs ago,

just more efficient, larger, and the fields are laid out in a way to run them at a maximized output,

The point is not them working but there is no work for Americans now with the pandemic. Also due to the pandemic American's will now have to be responsible for their medical well being that should be going to Citizens, not them. Why are the NSD so darned concerned over illegals instead of those who are citizens?

I agree. I've heard it said that taking in Mexico's poor is a "relief valve" so Mexico(and other S.A. countries) don't break down. I don't care about those countries that much that I'm willing to continually import millions. It's "helping a neighbor". We will be helping those neighbors til the sun blows up.

We are not the "relief valve" for every tin pot dictator in Latin America. Let them stay home and fix their own countries.
