There's nothing wrong in making up your own words when there is no existing one that fits.

You are apparently blinkered to the use of blinkering.

Unless, of course, you want other people to understand you.

-Fake Word Generator Jump down to the Generator.
It is quite a task thinking up great made-up words that are unique, so I created this word generator to help you come up with the best fake word ideas. They can be great for naming your website, business, product or project. Fake words or pseudowords are words which look like they are real, but actually have no meaning. They are easy to pronounce, and this also helps to make them sound like they are real...

Bazinga! What a great idea. Saves time.

Within the context the meaning is obvious.

Let's face it, words were / are invented by somebody.

                      What about repurposed words.
Rescue Dog = pound pup. (And one not strong enough or smart enough to save a life like the original rescue dogs.)
Bitchin = fantastic (only to those who get off on being nagged)
The list goes on....for like EVERRRRRR. oh gag me.

Blinkering was easy to mistakenly translate from blinker boy. Those who make a soft left or a lane change and continue to have people wondering when they'll slow down to turn...for the next hour and a half.
So blinkering must be a regional thing given that was my interpretation.
