        OK.

The post was supposed to include an article called "Whistleblower at Smith College Resigns Over Racism." Unfortunately the link will not work on this site and without the article....why bother. If you want to read it go to "Real Clear Politics" and hit their Saturday section you'll find it their.

Not only is the stuff in the article scary in the extreme its happening all over, not just in education but in corporate America and the Government. Donald Trump cut out this stupidity in the Federal system but Joe Biden instantly re instated it.

The author of the article, Bari Weiss is not a doctrinaire conservative, she could probably be best described as an old school liberal who the left considers to have fallen from the true faith.

I recommend the article, it describes classic Bolshevic methods transferred to modern America.

Well I googled "Bari Weiss" and found this on her personal web site, her resignation letter from the Times

To be honest more or less the same sort of letter has been submitted by people who work at places like Fox News.

Is someone not agreeing with the editorial policy of a certain establishment a new development? I'm guessing not, that if we look back through history there are incidents where someone wasn't a good fit.

In the Republican party right now, a clamor to get all of the people who aren't sufficiently pure and loyal to Trump out of the way. So is a need for "purity" a peculiarly liberal trait? I would say no, definitely not.

So then, what's the purpose of pointing out these sort of purity kerfuffles, but only on the other side? Note I am not disputing the idea that enclaves of weird ideas can and do form in/around liberal arts colleges, particularly those on the east coast for some reason. But if I look east I see one kind of nuttery, if I look south I see another, generally related to some church, if I look west I see something else, and yes around here, plenty of nuts to go around.

Long story short, beating up on liberal arts schools is old news. No, it's not Bolshevik any more than the Trump people are with their takeover of the Republican party, and no re-education camps aren't in the plan. Now to the broader question of....who has their sh*t together in 2021 America, and who does not? That to me is an interesting topic, and not one that falls neatly along political lines. My two cents worth, discounted by 100%.

Your link is not the article I was referring to. Go to Real Clear Politics and read the "Whistleblower at Smith College Resigns Over Racism" article. When I couldn't get the link to work, it's incompatible with this site, I deleted the content of the OP because I figured that folks would not bother to look up the article or look up the wrong article. Then people started responding to my blank OP......

Jodi Shaw was, until this afternoon, a staffer at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. She made $45,000 a year — less than the yearly tuition at the school.

She is a divorced mother of two children. She is a lifelong liberal and an alumna of the college. And she has had a front-row seat to the illiberal, neo-racist ideology masquerading as progress.

In October 2020, after Shaw felt that she had exhausted all her internal options, she posted a video on YouTube, blowing the whistle on, what she says, is an atmosphere of racial discrimination at the school.

“I ask that Smith College stop reducing my personhood to a racial category. Stop telling me what I must think and feel about myself,” she said. “Stop presuming to know who I am or what my culture is based upon my skin color. Stop asking me to project stereotypes and assumptions onto others based on their skin color.”

Jodi Shaw made less in a year than the cost of tuition. She was offered a settlement, but turned it down. Here's why.

I just checked Shaw's "Go Fund Me page." People were contributing hand over fist for her legal fund, but now The page is "under review" what a surprise that is.
