Like most things, asylum gets ruined if too many people try for it.

A bit diabolical, but what Trump could have done is identify the most outspoken asylum advocates in Congress, then set up a policy in which the newcomers are given their temporary lodgings in those districts. In other words, let those constituents volunteer. Some of the East Coast is would howl, but hey, put one's sweat behind one's convictions, right?Comment
