Car with w/seats out transporting 25 illegal immigrants had deadly crash

Car with seats removed transporting '25 illegal immigrants had deadly crash

A Ford SUV which can safely carry eight people had seats removed and was transporting '25 illegal immigrants' when it crashed near the Mexican border in California killing at least 13

The Imperial County Fire Department was called to a 'mass fatality incident' just after 6:15am, on Highway 115, in Southern California this morning

A Ford Expedition SUV was driving westbound on Norrish Road when it traveled 'in the direct path' of a big rig truck heading northbound on 115 and the vehicle was carrying 25 passengers but only equipped to seat eight as seats had been removed from the back of the SUV so that more people could be crammed in

Reports claim that border patrol sources say the people in the SUV were all 'illegal immigrants'

The Mexican consulate confirmed at least ten Mexican nationals died in the crash
It included the 22-year-old man driving the SUV, who was from Mexicali

The 69-year-old semi driver from El Centro, California, was also taken to hospital for his injuries

Five others were airlifted to a nearby hospital, three of whom are now in intensive care

The mainstream media claims nobody was an illegal yet. Only that the authorities are working with the Mexican consulate as they try to ID the dead and notify families.
25 people tripled the approved weight limit. Like trying to stop a train, it ain't stopping on that dime way back there. No official word aside from reporters speculations. My own opinion is they came across the border with illegal intent and the vehicle failed to stop at the highway intersection.
Need not be a genius to go to that 'guess', but I wonder what the official accident report will read. Especially since all the Trump era border enforcement was recently rescinded in its entirety.

many moons ago I was on my way to work one morning,
it was a Sunday or a Holiday, cannot remember which, and there was no traffic at all, hardly a car on the road,

I was not thinking and popped over a hill in a known speed trap area at about 15 over the limit,,
and yup,, trooper on the side of the road,

I saw him look up, grab the gear shift, and start off and I just slowed down ,, as I was checking my mirror to get over,, an older Nissan Maxima wagon blew past me,

it looked like a clown car,
it was rated for 5-6 people, and I bet there were at least 10 in it,

few seconds later, the Trooper blew past me,,

Since slo joe laid out the welcome mat stuff like this was bound to happen. Reports are a cut fence in a section that was to have been replaced, doubt the fence gets repaired now. Just more death's on the watch of slo joe.

Additional reporting of another vehicle found close by burnt up with a gaggle of illegals hiding near buy. I'm betting this hole in the fence has been that way for a while and its a super highway of trafficking's.

This kind of transport is not uncommon in many other places. I went to (and from) Liberia in '18, and was astounded at some of the sights, including vans and SUVs with 15 inside and 4-6 on top, motorcycles with 4-5 people crammed on them......... welcome to the new normal..........

Uncle Joe has blood on his hands for removing guards from the southern border.
