Incoming Presidents have at times given a speech in February, but new to the job, not a SOTU.

Biden may have chosen to avoid going to Congress to give a speech in person because of the pandemic, and security, and being busy with other stuff. On that last point he can be forgiven, as Trump did not exactly leave the place running like a Swiss watch did he?

The vaccine news has been outstanding since the new guy took over. Merck is the General Motors of vaccine production (to use a WW2 analogy) so for them to agree to make the J&J vaccine in their facilities is great news. Even those who have no plans to get jabbed benefit with widespread use of these medicines. Even if one claims Biden is only playing the hand that Trump dealt him on the vaccine front, the early results are good.

Who has any proof that Biden has done anything. He just initials whatever they put in front of him.

On his meet the press the other day he announced that he would take questions, and they cut his feed before he could take a question. When he is squinty eyed you know where his information is coming from, and when he opens his eyes his handlers rush him off the stage.

Security? with 10,000 plus soldiers and metal detectors everywhere?
