Baltimore High School Student Failed All But 3 Classes, Ends Near Top Half Of Class

He was also late or absent over 272 days of his first 3 years in high school. His mother says that the school failed him. I feel sure he will eventually contribute a great deal to our society.

    Read all about it:

A Baltimore high school student passed all but three classes over four years and still graduated near the top half of his class with a 0.13 GPA.

BB star sued college, said he graduated as a 'functional illiterate'. At a well regarded school.

This is why I am NOT a supporter of college athletics.

A few years ago, the news reported that NO kid on a basketball scholarship had EVER graduated from the University of Arkansas!

College athletic programs USE kids, they don't educate them.

The state college here is usually <3000 and has turned out many Olympians and international competitors; the athletes have a better graduation rate. Football doesn't get much billing. Using sports to raise funds is the problem.

Our local community college imports black 'students' from Africa to play on their sports programs. All at taxpayer's expense! I know this for a fact because a neighbor is housing 2 of them from Kenya! And they get a big supplement from the government to support them!

Comment by Larry Summers sometimes head of Harvard. “I could fill up the entire freshman class at Harvard with Asian girls with perfect math SAT scores”. There is where the discrimination lies-competence and achievement.
