Law School Deans Chastise Student Body as Too White

Study claims some American law schools are 'inappropriately white'

I guess I don't understand the complaint. Aren't the admissions to these schools based on the requirement to apply to go to the school as well as prior school grades and history! Correct me if I'm wrong but.. If less minorities apply and/or meet the requirements there will be less there right! Seems like just common sense....

The deans of an Ohio law school chastised their students for being too white after the release of a study ranking "the whitest law schools in America," emails obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show.

Our Dean was a PINA and was disliked by my graduating class. The "tradition" was to shake our hand and then hand us our sheepskin. My class was 1,500 students broken up into two rounds. One of the girls who he had given a bad time bad him back with our help. This guy was fastidious and each time we shook his hand we slipped him a ....marble. Freaked him out but what could he do? The joke was that he had lost all of his marbles!!! Apparently many of the higher education have also lost their marbles as well.

From what I have read the bottom has fallen out of the market for law school graduates, Valparaiso University in Indiana and Whittier College in California have closed their law schools, applications at others have dropped markedly. They are probably trying to distract attention from their charging high tuition for a degree that has reduced value.
