There isn't a high-speed rail system in the world that makes a profit. So how is that an advantage to China.

Rail can move super large amounts of goods, material and men/personal quickly from one point to another in times of emergency or a war.. Anybody see an advantage to that to a country!..Lol

"Rail" is one thing, "high speed rail" is another. I repeat, there is no high speed rail in the world that makes a profit -- they are all a dead loss.
