Why don't we get some immigration reform

Illegals or asylum seekers or whatever you want to call them are swarming the border. So they(PBS) were interviewing some immigration guy in San Diego,CA. He had a heavy Spanish accent and had some reasoning for the crisis and of course rolled out the old, what we need is immigration reform. I think it has been reformed. We used to guard the border now we are Gate Keepers and the gate is wide open. I'd call that some kind of reform. Why can't we reform it back to the way it was? Because we said we will be nice and we are sticking with it. All those kids in the facilities are the the subject now. They need to reform the facilities so they will be more comfortable. Those building will only get bigger. Why not just construct entire villages and town so they will feel at home. Wait, that's what Nogales is. And a large part of Phoenix and most of LA.& Tucson. Things have been reformed here.

Hey, this is another undoing of everything Trump did by the socialist democrats. The terrible effect on the country doesn't matter as long as all vestiges of Trumps accomplishments are removed.

The laws has to be changed to something other than "catch and release" for asylum seekers. Why do I say that? Because I believe climate problems in Central America and Mexico are only going to make things worse in the years to come. Liberals will want something in exchange for going along with that.

The immigrants I know, both types, come here to 'The Land of Opportunity'. The 'Rats want to change that to the 'land of guaranteed outcomes' which many migrants understand is the same outcome they want to leave behind. Check with the Rooftop Koreans.

Did you ever hear of the Thatch Weave?

At the outbreak of WWII we were astounded to learn the Japanese Zero was faster than our newest naval fighter, the F4F Wildcat. And more maneuverable than the Wildcat. We could neither dogfight them or run from them!! We had lost the war!!

Lt Cmdr John Thatch, commanding the fighter squadron on the USS Enterprise, took a sheet of paper and compared the two fighters:

Speed -- the Zero was faster
Maneuverability -- the Zero was more maneuverable.
Construction -- the Zero was almost flimsy, the Wildcat was built like a truck.
Firepower -- the Wildcat had 6 .50 machine guns. The Zero had rifle caliber machine guns, plus a 20mm cannon. Firepower advantage to the Wildcat.
Pilot protection -- the Wildcat had an armored seat, the Zero had none.
Self-sealing gas tanks. The Wildcat had them, the Zero didn't.

Thatch figured that if Wildcats and Zeroes traded shots, the Zeroes would fall out of the sky first. So he taught his pilots the "Thatch Weave." Wildcats would fly wingtip to wingtip. When jumped by Zeroes, they would begin weaving. Wildcat One would lead Zero One past the nose of Wildcat Two and Wildcat Two would get a deflection shot. Then they would reverse and trade favors.

Did it work ALL the time? No. But it worked often enough.

And that's the answer to this question. Will ALL illegals vote Democrat? No. But enough of them will.

Any immigration reforms in the past 50+ years have been absolute failures. Conservatives go along with amnesty for millions and millions of illegal aliens every decade or two with the promise of increased border security, then the border security never happens.

For of those you old enough to remember the Peanuts comic strip and cartoons, there was a recurring theme where Lucy was holding the football for Charlie Brown to place kick it. Lucy would always promise to not pull away the football each time, but every time she would pull away the ball at the last moment and Charlie Brown would fall on his bum when he missed kicking the ball.

Conservatives never learn, each time we think we trust the liberals to live up to their promises.
