Democrat demands a 6th recount - and gets it ...

She lost by a mere 6 votes - after five recounts, but she knows that
with enough recounts she can eventually win. How she lost in the
first place is a puzzlement as it's always democrats who count the votes.
A democrat somewhere is wearing a dunce cap.

Not technically a recount. The house Democrats, who of course run things right now, are thinking of screwing Marianette Miller-Meeks (whose win has been certified) out of her seat by refusing to seat her and seating Rita Hart instead. Pelosi had hinted at this ploy a couple of weeks ago. This is headed to court and it's going to drag on for a while.

The Dem majority in the house is razor thin (9 seats,) which means they can't afford to lose more than 5 on any bill. soooo any port in a storm.

Let us hope this blows up in their faces.

The argument probably isn't over the sums, but the red tape, which coffee stained ballots count or not.

Miller-Meeks is from Iowa where I live. Rita Hart ran a dirty lying campaign against Meeks' Meeks has already been seated! If Pelosi gets her way our Constitution will be worthless as just ink on paper.

Well one of us didn't. From the article:

She submitted a notice of contest on Dec. 22 that said 11 ballots were excluded due to poll worker errors and another 11 were excluded because of unsealed or damaged envelopes, having the voter?s signature in the wrong place, or having been left in a dropbox outside the county.
So yes, haggling over ballots, not sums, exactly as I said.

Enough with the apocalyptic language maybe?

When it's the other way the argument from the GOP would be that they "have a duty to their voters to leave no stone unturned", and McConnell would point out that the Constitution gives the House the authority to investigate elections of its members.

so the red tape part was not part of the article,

according to what I read (when it was posted) we have a sore loser that wants ballots that are legally excluded counted

at this point, she should just move on

Has anyone looked at Pelosi's family picture? It is a 'tell all' to why she is corrupted!

Opened, unsealed, damaged, or improperly filled out, have always been spoiled ballots and cannot be counted. Why should that rule be changed now?
We have had ballots dropped into charity collection boxes by mistake at our local organizational levels. Spoiled! No ifs no ands no buts. Spoiled.

Democrats believe every vote should count, spoiled included, as long as it's a D vote.
Just because a voter is both stupid and illiterate and signs with an X in the wrong place
and doesn't seal the envelope is no reason to discount his vote.
