Got my first one about two weeks ago (Pfizer). Scheduled for my second one on March 29. Moderna is already doing clinical trials on a booster that will work better on the new variants and only requires refrigeration, not even a regular freezer much less the ultra cold freezers needed for the current Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Shot? Me? You've got to be kidding. I'm in Illinois. Wrong skin tone and nonessential. My father nearing 90 in a nursing home hasn't gotten his yet either.
However, if you listen to our friggin sad excuse for a Governor, Illinois is leading the nation! He mentions that every time the cameras are rolling during a covid press conference. He just never says what we are leading in.

Maybe we are in things like corruption and violent crime, but not when it comes to what really matters.

My wife and I have both been vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine. Cannot see any reason to refuse. After all, it was developed under the direction of President Trump. Sincerely. bruce.

On 28 January, the VA sent an automated phone message that I was eligible for the Covid shots. I called the number provided and I asked for the 1st available time. I received the first Moderna shot at 11:15 that day. I was hospitalized for non-Covid problems several weeks later and the VA called my room one afternoon to ask if I wanted The Covid shots. The excess vaccine was offered to patients and staff. I received my second shot a day earlier than scheduled before I was released. All my family that is over 50 has had the first shot.

I had covid in November I was sick for five weeks and real sick for three of them. If you haven't had it be glad. It can be really unpleasant and not the way I wanted to lose 10 pounds.

My wife got her second shot in February, I get my second one March 25. We found that using computer resources and being diligent gets you the shot a lot sooner, that and being willing to travel. We drove about 65 miles to a pharmacy to get the wife cakes her shots and 100 miles, actually to my home town, to get mine but it was worth the trip. By the way, my reaction to the first shot was really unpleasant, covid symptoms for a day and a half. A doc I know said it was because, since I've had covid, my body's immune system reacted strongly to the vaccination.

Will be one week tomorrow since my second Moderna shot. Slightly sore arm with first shot, more sore for a couple of days with second shot, and then everything absolutely normal.

Ran by favorite gun shop this afternoon and heard one of the regular customers there had died from virus. Was on life support for a couple of weeks before dying.

I got the Johnson&Johnson one-shot shot a week ago. I felt badly for a couple days, but really believe it was more about about the 2 loads of mulch I moved that evening and next day.
                              This week, no issues.
