    Stolen valor

Another liar. No F-4 ever landed on the USS Constellation or any other carrier with no landing gear and no hook. Mr. Keith was in Vietnam but flew in P-3's and there is no military record of a Purple Heart much less 3.

With no landing gear the plane would be ordered to ditch and the pilot eject, right?

Only in an absolute emergency! Again, putting a spin on lies!

no gear would be an absolute emergency correct?

did the F-4's have a way to manually lower the gear ?

Another case of delusion. How people in very visible positions think they can get away with this always makes me wonder.

Can a navy aircraft land on the deck with no gear and tail hook extended and expect to get caught? It might be worth a try(this is just fantascy) and if it doesn't work, eject. No one cares that much about the aircraft to try it.

Flight decks are tough but if an aircraft is going to come in wheels up I just can't see a deliberate decision to risk the deck to damage and yes, fire. Aircraft are more expendable than a flight deck, and they have ejector seats and helos to get the pilot back.
