    Ray Got His Press Conference

Biden rambled a bit but never left the rails and never had to call a reporter a 'terrible person' to wriggle out of a question. And speaking of questions....none on the pandemic! Means he's doing a good job on his top priority.

Ray should be happy now, right Ray?

His staff is really brilliant. They wrote out his answers before the question was even ask, he just couldn't keep up with all the answer cards.

Togor if you don't believe it wasn't set up as stated above I will lose confidence in your thinking...I see he didn't call on Fox News who is not included as one of the dem buddy sites..

        Read this..

        https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...at-sheets.html

Despite the cheat sheets, Biden at several points in the press conference appeared to lose his train of thought.

Well....Biden didn't drool or fall down.

He had a press conference at a time of the day that would minimize viewership. He also told some amazing whoppers that the press, at least his pets who were the only ones he called on, didn't follow up on. Just to make sure he didn't mess up and call on anyone who might be a problem; he had a "cheat sheet" that not only had the names of the people he would take questions from but their photographs next to their names and the sequence of reporters he would take questions from.

He also, as rayg said had to consult his notes on several occasions.

Compare that to any press conference with Donald Trump, in fact compare it to any press conference with any president in my life time. What a disgrace.

And he had 9 days to practice! And still goofed up! A lot of back slapping and comments on how well he is liked! Even reading off 'cheat sheets' he stumbled and seemed confused! Said the majority of illegal immigrants were 17 or older! And to the audible back stage gasp, he announced he is running for re=election! I'll bet that was Harris? THAT will never happen! He would be 82 and drooling even more than now.

He had a briefing book. So what? Sometimes he read from it, sometimes not. So what?

I remember watching it (recording, later) and thinking "Ray's gonna trigger on that book!" Then I wondered "how many guys who think Biden has lost it take a list with them to the grocery store?"

Nobody thinks a shopping list is proof of dementia, do they?

BTW, here's Trump's first POTUS press conference. He's got papers on the podium that his eyes go to repeatedly. And he rambles too.

Point is it better not be about the notes at all because the other guy used them too, right?

So it's style. You don't like Biden's style. Fine don't like it, but....that style doesn't seem to be hurting him any does it?

The fact that he has the answers and still can't get them right is of no concern? Whether you like Biden or not has nothing to do with it.

No. That's not how these work.

Which explains the thick book with sticky notes poking out of it.

And the follow-ups sure aren't scripted.

What is known is the names and organizations of the reporters.

In a PC nod they had the entire rainbow represented, and called on. For sure that wasn't by random chance.

But also the questions were loaded, with unstated assumptions built in. Every reporter is hoping to make news with their question, boost their own career.

Biden *is* old. You can see it sometimes for sure, because he's been around for a long time. But....the narrative that he's on fumes, can't be the Biden he wants to be anymore, is off the mark, shooting at the wrong target. I'm just saying, that arguing that he's senile backfires a little bit, every time he comes out and clearly *isn't* senile. And maybe someone would have to be senile themselves to stick with that line of attack?

Hey if it's a good bridge at a fair price and I can detail strip it beforehand, I could be interested.
