Did you read her book?

Is it okay for her to plow profits from her book into Real Estate?

Because we both know a guy who did that.

Point is, don't criticize her for doing something, when someone else who you like does the same exact thing, and you don't have a problem with it.

The underlying argument seems to be, that people who advocate for ordinary folks have to live in mud huts or something, to show their devotion to the cause. And yet again, we both know a guy who claims to be the leader of a mass movement, who wouldn't be caught dead in a mud hut.

I wasn't thinking "Hitler", but he did write a book. Is invading Poland a real estate transaction?

I know that as a former LEO, BLM rubs you the wrong way, because the premise of the movement is that too often, police are indifferent to how they treat black folks. But are you going to tell me than on the whole, law enforcement in this country isn't at least a little bit biased against minorities? Not even a smidgen?

If she bought the house with her book money, I don't see the problem. Nor do I see a problem with someone having a nice house, if they can afford it. Whether or not that dings her cred with the movement is her problem, not mine.

Ray nothing to like about that video. Surprised you would use that word! I pointed it out to you because you have trouble wrapping your head around the why of BLM. Whether you watch it or ignore it, the fact is, incidents such as this are part of the world for black folks.

Did you watch any of it? The citizen says he's afraid to leave the car, and the LEO, gun on him, says, "you should be!" What kinds of unprofessional morons get badges these days?

Look how keyed up those cops are, over literally nothing! This motorist did nothing to warrant a stop, and the cops were already highly agitated when they initiated the stop. Particularly the fat one jumped to conclusions, and was unable to recalibrate. Sure it's easy to say, "just follow police instructions", but when the cops come at you like raving madmen right out of the gate, I bet some here would put up more of an argument than that motorist did.

And here's the thing....after all of that, he wasn't cited...for anything. Fire the fat one, send the young one back to school and see if he can be salvaged.

I have read that she is also looking at purchasing a pied a terre in the Bahamas. How proletarian! It is sort of like folks who promote the cult of climate change that teaches that rising sea levels will inundate coastal areas but then go out and buy beach front mansions on Nantucket or Malibu.

The guy is still alive and unharmed and it is actually a very minor incident except it becomes headline line news by the lefty liberal news and it would normally be handled in house or by civil suit! Simple..if the officers did some thing wrong, that is if as it only presents one side of the story..They will and should be disciplined.. As I said before..you always bring up something you think is detrimental to the police and again I also said before, I wonder why?... The liberal media only seems to bring up incidents such as this over the many thousands of incidents of good police work and especially if it involves a black person... You are brain washed by the liberal media which you accept because you are a liberal. And as such you disregard the serious incidents involving that I posted were officers were injured or killed doing the job to focus on this incident!

Now THAT'S a well-aimed comment.

There is definitely some of this out there. Every cause has it's"allies" that actually don't help one bit, and they are a sight to behold. Their actions open up the cause to criticism, to the frustration of those who are working hard to stay true.
