Get a little more sleep. Jumping up in the morning and posting "the sky is falling" without proper preparation is illegal in some states. Comrade Joe(oh,that's going to get old) came up with, or someone came up with this great idea that in the waning days of the Mid East war he can be a hero and bail us out. Kind of easy now; there's what? TwentyK troops there? That's less than all the junior landscapers that have come across the border as of late. The Afghans are concerned. Tough. It's a tough world in places. We don't have to push back the tide everywhere. Just keep them out of this country. By the way, we don't need anymore landscapers. Thank you. Major Tom, I assume there was something about refugees or something. Actually I don't think anyone over the age of 70(huge number) should run for public office unless they wear a robe with a big hood and have long white hair and a long white beard and carry an appropriate staff and can speak in a commanding voice. What blows my mind is that 20 thousand isn't a big number anymore. In a year or two when 30,000 Hondurans and various others show up you need to hire some no nonsense bouncers. Thirsty? That's too bad.

Two decades and it has to end sometime. Does it really matter who pulls the plug? Bush stated it. Obama promised it. Trump let it ride. Now Biden has moved into the realm where nobody else wished to go.
I'm not a Biden fan, but for chrissakes don't yell faulty when there is no fault at hand.
20 years and the magnetic yellow ribbon on my mailbox is looking very faded and tired now. When I put it there 20 years ago I swore to myself not to remove it until all our troops were out.
We might be leaving Afghanistan proper, but that doesn't mean Americans are vacating the areas around it.
Biden said as part of his speech that if SHTF during the withdrawal process, all bets are off. Personally I'd like to see if he's a man of his word on this one. Can't tell unless he doesn't keep his word. The opportunity hasn't presented itself.... YET.
