Republicans lost the PR war as well as the presidential election.

The raft of election laws in the various states is perceived as an attempt to hang onto narrow majorities, and the expense of democratic principles. People can shout until they're blue in the face about stolen elections (and many do) but the facts don't back them up.

So companies put a finger in the wind and go with the moment.

6 months from now a totally different situation could be in force.

When corporations have any say in anything that has to do with government it's because it is to benefit themselves and not the people or country!

            That's not capitalism, that's feudalism.

Gutlessness goes from the top to the bottom since the left has started using its control of the electronic media as a tool to shut down speech they don't like. It isn't just corporations and too many politicians of all stripes who roll over. Plenty of ordinary "rock ribbed conservatives" will complain and bellyache in their own "safe spaces," but when faced with the possibility of being "doxed" or "cancelled" for being too public they roll over too by shutting up and not expressing their views. I will confess to sometimes not mentioning my own opinions around people I don't know unless I'm specifically asked....need to work on that.

Fear of being at the least ostracized, especially if your own family is involved, is a very powerful thing. Add in the possibility of open hostility or harassment and the ante goes up.
