    Climate warming a hoax?

Here in southern Iowa the temperatures have been mid forties for highs and low thirties for lows for the past 2 weeks. Today it is snowing! 2 inches and still snowing with a temp of 32 degrees! I wish more cows would fart more often to warm things up!

If you want warming, you have to light the farts.

        Weather v. Climate.

But if weather is someone's thing, a super typhoon just had a explosive strengthening from category 2 to category 5 in an incredibly short time. That's new and predicted in climate models as a consequence of warner water in the latitudes where these storms exist.

For some, climate denial is like Jesus, in that there are no earthly words that can get them to change their mind.

I'll consider climate change when you can tell me where Mother Nature banks, and if the carbon credits are getting in her account,

Was the ice age followed by global warming?

Yes. What a time that was! You couldn't hear yourself think for all the buffalo farts!

When I was in 'Nam, one of the guys would light his farts. They were a light blue in color indicating methane? Just for your information. LOL

Were there some green streaks intermixed? You know you can draw fire like that?

                    Forgot to add....

If I had a nickel for every time someone uses cold weather as proof against climate change but stays mum when it's hot out, then I would never again have to worry about the cost of ammo!

It get cold somewhere when weather is overly warm somewhere else. It colder in Canada this week because there was a record breaking typhoon in the Phillipines. That's for real. Warm pacific water creates typhoons and this one was a record breaker. Strongest, earliest. It snowed at my house. Climate change, HA! (sarcasm)

Local State FS office has a cookie from a Pondersa cut live for a highway project nearby. A) It is about 700 years old. B) It suggests we are coming off a wet cycle, in historical terms. It was pretty dry back in Middle Ages, wetter before and after. In terms of nature, a few decades doesn't add up to diddly.

It would be very useful to be able to calculate the solar minimum/maximum back a few milennia. That would give an idea of what's going on.

Tom Steyer made many millions shorting coal before launching this b.s.

That's ignoring a lot of other evidence.

Arguing that the background rate of wetness or dryness disproves climate change is like arguing from death data that we're not in a pandemic right now, because death rates in the 19th century were much higher. Rainfall data is but one piece of the puzzle.

One piece of the puzzle? Did you forget that weather changes have been happening for millions of years? Nothing strange is happening now that didn't happen before. With China and India belching coal smoke and car emissions it ain't gonna help any of us. But Biden thinks outlawing gas powered vehicle will change the air we breathe. One nation won't make a difference! And Mr. Gates wants to block the sun!?
