We Know The Mistake This Time...

    Don't call 911 when you're pissed off.

Dispatch might send you Deputy Fife.

In all seriousness, the "one bullet" issue for ammo starting to look better.

That's an idea. Panicky cops shouldn't have ten rds. A pro can get the job done(if needs doing) with three.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Nearby town doesn't allow police to carry a chambered round.

                  Don't call 911 when you're pissed off....

and..never have anything in your hands when you encounter the police.....NEVER. Everything from wallets to phones have been mistaken by the police for guns especially in low light. The fact that the cop screwed up will not bring anyone back to life, and if there's a lawsuit someone besides the dead person will spend the settlement.

People see things that aren't there under stress, especially if training is deficient. Cutting cop funding means deficient training will become even more common. It also means that less and less desirable people are going to get the job, because the potential high end recruits are smart enough to see the "writing on the wall" and not sign up. That's going to increasingly be the cost on the back end.

Art you ever get the feeling that big city society has just put a round in their foot?

Yes, and they're doing it, in most cases, deliberately.

That was funny! But by posting it..it also gives you an insight of what Togie thinks of the police...I keep looking for some funny incidents about his working trade in the factory but can't find one...And in case if anyone thinks I'm being bad by picking on him because of what he does as I'm sure he has a responsible job there! Please be advised I had worked in a factory for a good part of my life and only left it to enter into a law enforcement career.

Art, when I was a 911 dispatcher for local sheriffs office and someone calls in for "someone is in my house," etc., and they are armed....I would advise them as our deputies came on scene to disarm and place weapon on top of refrigerator prior to going to the door to meet deputies...never had anyone fail to comply. Therefore, never had any real incidents in my county that I am aware of. Common sense at a stressful moment in time is paramount.
