This bill wants to carve out an exemption so students can secretly record their profs for lawsuit fodder.
Florida Man Writes Legislation

Why would any professor be fearful of anyone recording a classroom lecture? I never had anyone ever question my recording lectures whether at the undergraduate or graduate level. Such recordings allowed me to enjoy and interact in the classroom rather than focusing on simply writing down what was said by the professor. Later, I could listen to the recordings, etc. Cannot see any reason why a professor would complain. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce." Unlike most conservatives, libs have no problem exploiting dead children and dancing on their graves." -
Not just lectures, Bruce.
Go to office hours, start an argument one-on-one with the prof, for purposes of secretly recording it for use against him later.
Florida Man wrote the law with that in mind. The Maoists couldn't be more impressed.
Florida Man also wrote legislation restricting absentee voting, only to realize at the last minute that Republican voters in Florida like this method and use it a lot.
So, Florida Man asked his colleagues, can we exempt Florida seniors from this law? No, they replied, that won't fly. But Trump wants the law, so Florida Men passed the law.Comment

Togie..Catch up and read and weep...
In Florida, it's a felony to record the words of another person secretly during a private conversation.
However not if that other person is a professor at one of Florida?s public colleges and universities, according to a bill that passed both chambers of the Florida Legislature last week.
