COVID-19 has resulted in many deaths and caused a worldwide economic crisis that seems to have benefited China. The mortality rate is really quite low for most people. If you are unfortunately to have the "wrong" set of genes that makes your body either over react or under react, it can be very serious. Certain co-morbidity factors like obesity, diabetes, heart conditions, COPD, and others also make you more susceptible to serious consequences. The worst thing about it is how easily it is spread from person to person, something the Chinese and the WHO at first stated, did not happen.

Someday either nature or man will come up with a virus that spreads as prolifically as the measles and is as lethal as Ebola. That virus will make COVID-19 seem like a summer cold.
