A disabled veteran in Portland, Oregon, is hospitalized with multiple serious injuries after a group of armed Black Lives Matter protesters attacked and beat him. Portland Police Bureau officials reportedly received several calls about the violent acts of the BLM protesters on May 5.

Joe Hall, a 53-year-old home handyman, a crowd of BLM protesters armed with AR-15s and AK-47 surrounded his vehicle and then attacked him when he got out of his work truck, FOX 12 Portland reported. He said he was driving through the area where a BLM protest was underway while moving from a completed job to his next assignment. The crowd stopped his vehicle and those of others as they blocked the roadway.

This is just going to be a fact of life if you live in one of these woke, socialist cities. Portland is just one of the worst. Oh, and by the way, don't call the police in these places. it's a waste of time. They'll show up way too late, (this case) if at all.

Very important note. Never draw a weapon unless you are truly ready to use it and the circumstances justify it. Now these low lives have another gun. It reminds me of a fellow I knew who worked in a Houston gun store back in the late 1970s. A lady walks in and says she wants a pistol for protection. After discussing choices the woman picks out a gun. The salesman then volunteers to help her with an ammunition choice. The woman replies "I could never shoot anybody, I just want the gun to scare them." The salesman then refused to sell her the pistol.

Bad business. Hope and pray the injured man will full recover. Very much hope and pray that the criminals will get whats coming to them.
As to cities, etc., all is not lost. In fact, far from it. Just spent the last two weeks in Jersey City and New York. Except for one day when it rained, I spent several hours each day taking care of my granddaughter and grandson, ages 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 years old. We went everywhere using a stroller. Averaged over 5 miles daily just taking them to and from various parks, etc. Never had any problems with anyone. Very mixed race neighborhoods ... lot of different languages but mostly English, Spanish and some form of what I think was Hindu. Not sure. All those children and none of them got angry, argued, etc. They just enjoyed playing. I was routinely wore shirts from my Vol. FD and a shirt given to me by the local county Sheriffs Dept. Also work some of my church t-shirts. Just nothing at all but fine good time from start to finish.

About police, etc. Got a ticket b/c I did not realize my car had to be moved by 9 AM on Monday and Friday so the city could clean the streets! Talked to a policeman who showed me a place on the curb by the park fence where it would be legal for me to park my car. Well lit from street lights, car dealership. Later coming home on I-95 I messed up at a toll booth. No way to pay w/ cash. Saw a officer and pulled over. He didn't shoot me! How about that!!! I got out of the car and walked over to him and asked what to do. He told me the toll fee would come in the mail! No need to stop. So surprised! Was all set for trouble! Ready to give with the, "Don't tase me, bro." And nothing happened!!!

Seriously, I know bad things happen to good people ... even in big cities. But, that the exception to what is normal everywhere, even in really big cities. Sincerely. bruce.

Back to the streets. Who would a thought it! Down where I live, the city has to jack people up about keeping their property clean. My HOA is always having to get people to maintain their flower beds, edging, etc. But Jersey City washes the streets! Crazy. Dog gone streets were clean just about all the time. Parks were extremely nice. Same with running track, exercise equipment, benches, etc. Just real nice. When I first started taking the children out, I was concerned. That concern proved to be misplaced. Will not say bad things cannot happen. Know they can. But, it is not like a new episode of Purge every day.
" Unlike most conservatives, libs have no problem exploiting dead children and dancing on their graves."

Yes there still are nice and crime free places but you would never know it according to the news that searches for, and focuses only on the bad things and places! And then of course there's BLM marches, and the lawless inner city occupants who raise the overall crime rate, and all the others in the country who give the county a bad name!

Try different new sources other bright fart. Bryant Park is a lovely Park in Manhattan. The restrooms were, once, voted the cleanest in America. There is also a branch of city library where you can sit and read borrowed books.
