Think the US has a shooting and murder problem, all Dem cities!

Shooting and murder rates for Chicago and NY cities so far! Togor all Dem cities below...

Five people shot near McDonald's in the Bronx as gun crime continues to spike in the Big Apple with shooting incidents up 140 percent on last year

There have been a total of 146 murders in New York City in 2021 as of May 9 compared to 115 by the same date in 2020, a 27% increase.

In Chicago, 956 people were shot in the first four months of 2021?217 more than the same point in 2020, which was a record-setting year for shootings in the Illinois city. The Chicago Tribune, which tracks all of the area's shooting victims, recorded that 956 people were shot between January 1 and April 26.

    Some Other city rates..

The city with the highest murder rate according to the most recent FBI Data? That would be St. Louis with 0.0006 murders per capita ? or about 1 for every 1,549 people, which is relatively low compared to historical norms and isn?t THAT dangerous.

Not sure what the point is of posting your statistics You're saying that Democratic political leaders facilitate murder?

    Well here's one for you:

2023 Preliminary Fatalities By State Hover over or click on a state to view preliminary fatalities. States in dark red have fatalities. Federal Agencies: 7 Military: 1 U.S. Territories: 3 Tribal: 1

Compare Texas and California. Life for LEOs is significantly more dangerous in the Lone Star State, run by the GOP, than it is in the land of Fruits and Nuts, which is Democraticly-run.

By your logic the Texas GOP is falling down on the job when it comes to keeping police from getting killed. More than that, the top 3 most lethal states for cops are all run by Republicans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are putting words into what I said...As I did not say Democratic political leaders facilitate murder? Only that the highest crime rates occur in Dem run cities, and which is statistical fact! Also Because Texas is a border state, how much of the officer murder rate involve Illegals, Anyway, none of it takes away of the high rate of crime rates in the Dem run cities

Ray in a lot of cities the GOP doesn't even bother to field a candidate. Because they couldn't get elected. And if one does get elected, it's on a platform to "streamline city services" which invariably just means privatizing services, with connected insiders getting the contracts. Most of the time the voters don't take the cheese on that one so the result is that Democrats have to run the cities you are talking about because nobody else steps up.

Still you haven't come close to making a case that criminals care about the party of the mayor when making crime choices. And I wonder if behind all of your posts on "big city crime" there isn't an anti-gun agenda, in the form of some kind of crackdown.

RAY says....To the best of my knowledge there is always a Republican candidate on the ballot, a token perhaps, at least there was when I lived in Chicago. But of course no Republican could could ever get elected because these cities have mostly Democrat voters and also heavy in black populations who mostly pull the Dem lever....

And quit reaching, it has nothing to do with gun laws..

Actually, the Democrats do facilitate murder, you know. They facilitate murder by de-funding the police, making it harder for those who remain to do their jobs, letting criminals out of jail, rejecting broken-window policing, and on and on.

Oh my God I work in the most dangerous City in Texas, Humble Texas. I didn't know that I should be afraid of being a victim of violent crime. I know numbers and statistics don't lie but I've never seen anything scary going on here and I ran a bowling alley for a few years here.

Glad you haven't been affected. It sounds like your business must be in a safer location in the city as here are the overall crime stats for city!...

"Violent daily crime statistics in Humble are 2.79 times more than the Texas average and 3.08 times more than the national average. For property crime, Humble has a daily crime rate that is 4.35 times more than the Texas average and 4.93 times more than the daily national average"...
