Caught using more than 100 debit cards in other names to steal $2 million

It must have been easy to do if these jokers could do it..

Eight Brooklyn men, aged 18 to 24, are busted for stealing '$2MILLION from COVID relief funds using fraudulent benefit claims' after cops found them posing with huge wads of cash on their social media profiles

Eight young Brooklyn men are accused of stealing personal information from those receiving COVID relief funds and funneling the money into their accounts

They then allegedly posted pictures of themselves with the stolen money
Prosecutors claim the suspects ? all between the ages of 18 and 25 ? used their own phone numbers and addresses to claim the money

They also allegedly made several withdrawals at one time
Six of the suspects have been arrested and two others are still at large

I remember a conversation that I had several years ago with a police inspector. He maintained that for the most part, criminals were dumb. These guys are good examples.

We had a little gang of high school kids running a drug cartel. They even had bought a house. When they got busted one kid said, him and his girlfriend got in an argument about it and he threw $5,000 out the car window in anger. It sure would be interesting to know how they all turned out.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Here in little Mountain View, AR, we are living proof. There was a fellow burglarizing a hardware store. An employee came in early and surprised him, and the burglar ran out the back door and into the woods.

The police and sheriff's department combed the woods. There is a pond there, and they saw something odd in the pond. It was the burglar hiding, with just his nose above water.

Did I mention this happened in February?
