This country is finished as the Lib's are brain washing our kids

Middle School's social justice classes were taught the slogan 'Make America Great Again' is an example of 'covert white supremacy'

Maryland school district is condemned for spending $450,000 of taxpayers' money on 'claptrap' anti-racism audit that dubbed MAGA slogan 'covert white supremacy'

Montgomery County Public Schools, the largest school district in Maryland, approved the $454,000 'anti-racist system audit' in November 2020

On Wednesday, Conservative activist group Judicial Watch released nearly 700 pages of records related to the audit and critical race theory classes

Students in Thomas Pyle Middle School's social justice classes were taught the slogan 'Make America Great Again' is an example of 'covert white supremacy'

The Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium, who conducted the audit, list it's mission as promoting 'excellence and equity in education to achieve social justice'

Not just anti-white, but anti-conservative as well.
The target is instillation of white guilt with no tolerance for individual thoughts outside trendy mob mentality.
Its all about demonization and witch hunts. Taught by teachers and faculty which are themselves products of slow indoctrination.

        It didn't happen overnight.

So if the duck weighs more than a woman, its logical to assume the duck is also a witch. Burn both of them!

Has anyone here directly experienced discrimination based on gender or skin color? I cannot say I have.

Does anyone here really think a different skin color or gender would bring personal advantage? I cannot say I do.

So there's lots of hyperbolic talk out there on all sides. But just because someone might believe with all their heart & soul that the country is finished, it doesn't mean they're right.

The country is never going to be finished. But things change. If your six years old the change doesn't bother you as much, but kids aren't dumb.

question one,,, yes, I have, several times,

#2,, yes, it has, and I know some that benefited from it, as well as race,

I've told you before, you profess to be an expert on so many subjects, but if you ever got out of your bubble, and opened your eyes, vs chugging the party line, you may learn a few things,

as far as this country being finished, not hardly, but there are those that would like to see it fail

Lyman I'll say I've experienced discrimination by age now and then, and region. Some of this is on the job, some not. Folks from the East Coast, and for some reason the English, look down on midwesterners as not getting the big picture, as if we're trapped in cheese/sausage-filled bubbles and just don't know things.

Continental Europeans less likely to make that mistake for some reason. Bostonians (this is on the job) feel like they have to be arrogant just because. If you're their equal on a technical subject, it's a loss for them.

This is all personal experience for me. YMMV.

Nothing to cry over, just prove 'em wrong and not worry about their judgements.

and want to share the new questions, which you have been guilty of discrimination in the past, (region,,,, you talk trash about the south often, )

Yes I have. Many times and yes, its easy to take advantage of color/gender/race/religion in several different environments around the country.

I have been denied employment solely due to me not fitting in with Equal Opportunity requirements. I have also been the token white boy with minority contractors.
I have been asked to leave establishments due to skin color or gender.
I and one other were dismissed from a company when they found out we weren't Jewish.
I have been pulled over for "driving while white" in several areas of certain cities.
I have done work in Chicago Housing Projects. The seething hatred could not be hidden by some of the residents.

On the other hand, when my soon to be daughter in law came up pregnant, I slowed them down in the rush to get married. Brown skinned Puerto Rican unwed mother? Instead of the kids struggling and very possibly failing in life, I suggested they wait a couple of years.
She not only got help with diapers and baby food, she was able to finish college.
That two years helped immensely. The system is in place and she didn't need to lie, act, or steal. Just be a PR unwed mother. Not abandoned mind you. Not alone. Just 'Hispanic' and legally unwed. Simply used the tools at their disposal.

White folks tell me their relatives did not qualify. Myriad of questions and hurdles that my kids didn't need to answer.

That's just the tip of the iceberg in regard to me answering your questions. Then again, when younger I always had a knack for turning up in places where many people wouldn't go.

That and more is the reason I don't fall into step with political correctness or buy into the latest hyperbole of the day. It is what it is. Either one assimilates towards the mainstream or they segregate themselves. When they choose to segregate, they find a need to blame somebody else for their own shortcomings.

                              JB, you remind me,

my grandmother, in her late 70's, widowed, and a farmers wife (meaning SSI was not much) was poor,

my mother took her to the county office to see if she could get any assistance (this was in the late 80's)
she was offered Food Stamps of $17 a month,,,,,

I had a customer that worked for a guy, he was a low volt wiring guy (banks, etc, running alarm, computer etc type lines)
his boss was a white as can be, but had a hispanic last name,

so he applied for every job available, and often got them based on his last name alone,

have another customer that put his wife in as the business owner/operator.... helps him a lot when they are looking for minority or gender bids on jobs (he does excavation/road work)
