Police injury stats during the riots

I'm only posting this because it was challenged that police work is no different then any other job!

These stats are only related to those that occurred during the riots not for other injuries that occurred over the normal year..

Over 2,000 police officers sustained injuries in the line of duty during the first weeks of demonstrations that began May 26 over the death of George Floyd while in custody of the Minneapolis Police Department one day prior.

    selectively offended ray?

if you are referring to my questions on Covid and LEO work, it was only directed to the Covid numbers, not any other risks
    as I think you know

I did forget however... I will stick to my original statement that so many officers lost their lives to Covid-19 that the NLEOMF had to create a task force to help verify all the deaths to prove that they were the result when officers had had direct close contacts with people as a direct result of the job!

Those stats did not include officers that did not have such person contact.

Those stats show what most people in other professions can keep their distance from another person were LEO's can't do so in a number of times..
