beaten down by the Bureaucracy?

years ago I met a couple folks that thought of running for the school board, cause they wanted change/better schools/etc etc,

they when they starting looking into the processes ,, they suddenly decided to just vote instead of run

There are folks out there that will take on the pseudo giants. It's not for nazis but real parents who want the best for their kids. Folks who want to kick ass in any venue are usually wrong. When I was working, we'd have guys that wanted to "straighten out those guys"(by going semi supervisor, 204b program). When they found out that they couldn't be King it was less fun and often they bailed out.
