Since Biden has gone to see Putin there have been some Putin interviews that are interesting. Did people disappear? Well, yeah, I guess, but I don't know anything about that. But the similarities between the two is startling. I'm not saying that is a bad thing. Fake news is a term that comes up. Biden is a career politician. It's spooky how this parallels what we hear here.
Trump seemed to like Putin and Putin sounds like Trump

All you have to do is look at the economy under Trump, and what five months of Biden has done to realize the U.S. is in deep dodo. Spending trillions that we don't have and will never be able to pay for.
Biden doesn't have a clue as to who he is working for. He just walks in the direction they point him, squint his eyes, and read meaningless speeches written by liberal hacks.Comment

I remember well Pres. Obama telling Sergei Lavrov, then Putin's puppet surrogate president that "after the election I'll have a free hand." Hardly the comment of a President who was a hard liner on old Vlad and the Russians. Imagine the outcry if that had been Trump instead of "Barak the Wise." The U.S. under Obama also conceeded to Russia's anexation of the Crimea with nary a criticism. When Russia invaded the Donbass the Obama administration sent in humanitarian aid (food, blankets and stuff) that the Ukrainians had to pick up at the border. The did supply the Ukrainians with radars that were suitable for directing counter battery fire but that was the limit to the help the Ukrainians got from the Obama administration.
The Trump Administration, on the other hand, had no problem with sending lethal aid to the Ukrainians including Javelin anti tank missiles.
Also, Russia was exempt from none of the Trump era tariffs. In some cases it didn't matter, but Russia is the worlds third largest producer of Aluminum and the fifth largest steel producer. and the 10% amnd 25% tariffs on those had to bite. A side benefit is under the Trump administration the production of steel went from 60,000,000 metric tons where it had pretty much sat since 2010 to 90,000,000 and pig iron from 60,000,000 tons to 120,000,000 ton. During the Trump era the U.S. Steel industry passed Russia and climbed into 4th place.
Now who was actually harder on Putin?
I see old Joe punted on the Russian pipelines supplying the Euros while killing them off here. I bed Vlad isn't upset about that turn of events.
The "bro-mance" between Putin and Trump was, and is largely a concoction of falsehoods and half truths used by his multitudinous political enemies.Last edited by Art; 06-13-2021, 07:25.Comment

No, but Biden will sure as hell make a "deal" that will benefit his family and America be damned!
