A new holiday for the left, but business as usual, that is blacks killing blacks!

Here in Raleigh, NC, on June 19th, there was a Juneteenth rib eating celebration with about 200 attending. One of the children had a medical emergency and when an ambulance showed up, someone started shooting at the ambulance and EMS workers. One of the EMS workers was hit. Explain to me why EMS workers shouldn't be allowed to be armed while on duty.

Juneteenth has been celebrated officially and unofficially in Southeast Texas for many, many years. It gradually spread out to all of Texas then to other states, sort of like eating crawfish did from South Louisiana. I've got no problem with the holiday, just like I have no problem eating Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo. Both commemorate something constructive.

I used to donate water and other stuff the the outdoor celebrations when I was in the Grocery Biz, and I have been out over 5 yrs

When I was a kid Juneteenth was a BFD, with all the blacks celebrating with big get togethers and feeds. Then it went through a period where the blacks did not celebrate it as it set them apart from everyone else. Now what is old is new again.
