700 Pound Statue of George Floyd Unveiled in New Jersey

You might ask what did he do to deserve a statue....Well for starters he was a druggy! passed counterfeit currency! violently resisted arrest! held a gun to a pregnant woman's abdomen! shop lifter!

All worthy of a statue...A New Jersey city offered a tribute to George Floyd Wednesday by unveiling a 700-pound bronze statue of him outside Newark?s City Hall.

I lived in Newark in the Summer of '72. A doper pulled a knife on me a few hours after I got to town. I was there for two months and that was too long. It was nasty then and I'm sure it hasn't changed for the better.
