    Here's a question, to anyone who wants to have a go:

    Would a national law requiring IDs to vote be on balance a good thing or a bad thing?

    On the one hand, IDs, good.

    On the other hand, federalization, bad.

              Good question. ID is good. We don't want Frosty the Snowman or Bigfoot voting. But, we don't want 1939 either. We will never have 1939 again. Ahh, but never say never. Actually, I think '39 was OK, just a little rough around the edges. Those were the days. Sounds awful, but they were up for it. These days, it's just a neighborhood(kind of a bad neighborhood) altercation. I noticed today that the Feds have discontinued executions. For some reason. Fine. What the heck, they eliminate ten killers every forty years? Not much point to it anyway. I hope they get crappy food.
