An announcement from Facebook is encouraging members to rat on friends and neighbors of possible criminal activities! How soon will there be 'middle of the night' arrests and firearm confiscations! Like "my neighbor owns a gun and he may use it to harm someone because he's a grumpy old man"!

So....if someone has knowledge of a crime someone else has committed or is planning, they're NOT supposed to give that information to law enforcement?

Statistics show that grumpy old man is most likely to use the gun on himself and maybe his poor long-suffering wife. Hate to see that happen but agree with you that grumpiness in seniors by itself is not sufficient cause for law enforcement attention.

Well, if its good for the goose, its good for the gander. So ... fb should now take any and all concerns expressed and forward them in exactly the same manner to the authorities! Given that no one trust fb to act ethically or with integrity in reporting concerns expressed about politically identified Conservatives ... will the left-wing liberals "trust" to act ethically and with integrity when reporting concerns expressed about left-wing liberals? Yes they are a spy arm of the leftist gestapo along with most all social media. I don't use them or twitter or much anything except this. Hell I don't trust email or the phone anymore, FBI or NSA is listening I guarantee it. I'm sure there is more than one "RAT" here in this forum that would or does report on anyone who is center or right center, red tag. I do a lot to hide my patterns by putting buffers between me and what I really do, I'm sure that one will be reported LOL, have at it boys. One thing for sure and it's very entertaining to me, when they are following me they ain't following the real problem.
