Funny thing is I basically agreed with Sid and pointed out a similar crappy thing being done to our people overseas.

One other guy replied but turned it into a Biden dig.

Nobody else chimed in on what could have been a solid topic.

Don't know who is doing the removing of the post but like I said, it would be nice to message the one posting "why". Otherwise people are leaving. Togor's job is being fullfilled. I'd like to see his bonus when this site leaves completely.

What was memorable about your posts from the duplicate Gun Smoke handle is how you were accusing me, Sandpebble and RKT as being duplicates. There is a blatant hypocrisy to that which is just hard to overlook.

How about guys just argue straight up without taking any of it personally and not leaning on insults or labels to backstop their case. Surely there are worse things in life than that.

Wow, Sid, at 90 yo, says he is leaving...and he has been a member longer tha anyone else. Maybe; I joined in 1982 wben I came back from WEST Germany. Many of the real oldtimers have left as we know. Last week I saw a post from John Beard; someone who is an old time member I haven't seen in awhile. All those that have left went to other SHOOTING sites that met their needs.

Yes, this site is not the same as the Maj. and Gloria created it. The premise for which it was created, and the people interested in the old mil surps arms/equipment discussions have now taken a backseat to one political discussion forum on this site. Go to the home page "Forums" and scroll down and look at the last time someone has posted to forums other than 2nd A.

The reasons why people are not as active in those forums, except reloading/handloading, have been discussed ad nauseum before this hyper inflated worldwide flu; expense of mil surps, availability, new 6mm super blammer, lo cost of AR type arms, but mostly, to me, it's the age of new shooters and lack of knowledge of historical arms. Why come here, when there are so many, and yes, better forums for the AR type and caliber of the month arms?

It seems to me that our CSP site has out lived its intended purpose. Maybe it should be closed and be reinvented as a political site.

I have 't seen, in a long time, solitication for site support. Maybe Pat has found some way to get grant money to keep it going. It seems to me with all the discord on this site, if supporting members, stopped their support, this shooting site would, and I hate to see it, just go away. And in the interest of full disclosure, I am not one of the supporting mambers.

i just switched user names due to all the troll comments from you and yours about my demographics, religion and other info that I disclosed over time. I haven't posted as Allen since 2019 I believe and quit posting as GS when you made moderator. Never did I post as 2 people, talking to myself, replying to myself even at 3:00 in the morning, patting myself on the back and trying to outnumber the pro-forum folks here.

Nothing was proven about your alter egos except that you didn't post under the same IP address.

I could have done the same by using a relatives computer, a friends computer, computer at the library or merely just using a mobile device that all have different IP addresses but didn't. I wasn't trying to hide anything except info on my personal life that you don't need.

Anyone with an IQ > zero could have seen that at the time. We had no moderator and I didn't want to trouble Pat about deleting my extra account. Word here was she wasn't in the best of health.

And by the way, when I post, usually I save a copy to file with posted date and time group, in case it ever disappears and I want to talk about it. Others might want to try that.

Balance is "NOT" what we get from "this TOGOR", propaganda is more like it. I'm not opposed to balance in part because I believe that there is always 2 sides to any story but that isn't what you get with Togor, sort of like saying Juan Williams being accused of being balanced, WTF did that idea come from cause it ain't even close to correct.
