Most immigrant apprehensions in 21 years

178,000 "encounters" in April. Almost a new record. How does the border patrol manage that? They round up ten thousand at a time? Of course the nits are always allowed to stay.

    -and unlimited number.....-

And none of this seems to cause a stir. We have more important issues like making sure queers are treated nicely and no woman gets a unsolicited hug. Oh, and every dingaling in every city protesting vaccinations that they don't even have to get if they don't feel like it.

How about spending a little of that 3 trillion on finishing the wall? Or just fire a couple of rnds over their heads once. A lot cheaper and a lot more effective. I know that's just crazy talk.

It's obviously an issue, but it's not like it's an either-or, border versus the queers or hugs.

Word seems to have gotten out down south that if you can sneak over, there's work to be had. Low wages but still a better situation than Guatemala or Honduras or whatever.

We're addicted as a society to illegal drugs and labor from south of the border. As someone who uses neither, it kind of bugs me that it's this way.

The word didn't just seem to get out. Joe Biden invited everyone to come on in. No facilities to process them, so just spread them out over the United States and let the recipients of all the illegals worry about what to do with them and the diseases they bring.

It's not working as slo joe envisioned it.

        do you eat?

specifically vegetables, fruit, or a host of other food stuffs?

most are picked or processed by labor that may or may not be legally in this country,

so, you, I and everyone has a part in it

I grow most of my vegetables, or buy locally grown produce. Don't include me in your sweeping accusation.

Who'll pick the lettuce? Well, I guess we go without lettuce.

Get rid of welfare, extended-additional unemployment, bs stimulus payments, obamacare, food stamps and other socialist programs and there will be plenty of people (citizens) more than eager to pick the crops, grow/harvest the produce.

In addition, when I was young convicts maintained the highways picking up trash, bush hogging and laying the asphalt. Now we have thousands of state and county highway employees with office jobs with very few doing any actual work. When infrastructure money is presented the real work is farmed out to contractors.

                  Very rarely.

Frozen food to me is a venison loin taken out of the freezer.

That link backing your claim should be easy to find, right?

What you say is true. But notice how others will ignore your point.

So we trade off our entire country for cheap veggies?

-“I make no apologies for ending programs that did not exist before Trump became president that have an incredibly negative impact on the law, international law, as well as on human dignity,” he said.-

                          But screw the United States.

                            It's sarcasm;

I hope queers and women are treated well. That's .01% of my concern. The invasion, yeah I know it's ragtag but it has backing and organization, concerns me way more. It ain't 1950, they have cell phones(even though they are starving peasants). They are briefed and told when and where to march. We lost Vietnam(maybe it was a tie), we are going to lose(I don't see where it's a loss) Aphganistan. We might lose this "war" too.

-I don't feel good about this one- The line by a couple of good actors in movies.

Maybe it's time to make Lemonade? Have the GOP sign up the ones that aren't immediately sent back?

I do agree there is a big loophole in the law around asylum that needs to get fixed. But most don't play that card (for some reason) and get kicked out pronto.
