I have no doubt they could do the next one better, as there is plenty of room for improvement.

But that's true of us all in many things isn't it?

The durable result is... we're out of there. We're trying to do less in Afghanistan, so Pakistan has less double dealing leverage over us.

That gift will keep on giving long after editors have grown bored running Afghanistan tales of woe, and the escapees have been sorted out.

So to me the good far outweighs the bad, but to hear the BDS crowd bleat about it, this cannot be so.
